{"id":31,"date":"2013-11-19T16:29:15","date_gmt":"2013-11-19T14:29:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/evol-forum.ch\/dei-en\/the-comparison\/"},"modified":"2018-10-24T16:25:35","modified_gmt":"2018-10-24T14:25:35","slug":"the-comparison","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/evol-forum.ch\/dei-en\/the-comparison\/","title":{"rendered":"The Comparison"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><strong><span style=\"color: #2f3f88;\">Comparison of the 4 World Religions<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Hinduism<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Buddhism<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Christianity<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Islam<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">These four world religions, followed by 73% of the human population, <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">came into being in the order in which they are listed, and have managed <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">to survive to this day, even though they have undergone rifts and <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">separations. Recent statistics show a decline in Christianity and Hinduism, <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">and a growth in both Islam and Buddhism. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The religions are surprisingly\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\">similar and actually belong together <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">when looking at them in stages,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\">as well as by region and culture. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The term, \u201cChristian\u201d, ought to refer to those who have reached <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Christ-consciousness, which is by no means the case for most who claim <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">to be Christians. Moreover, Muslims, Buddhists and Hindus alike and all <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">other human beings following the path of divine love can also achieve <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">the love-consciousness that Christ did. When taking an objective view of <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">the essence of the four religions and overlooking today\u2019s types of churches, <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">interpretations and exploitations and opposing preconceptions, the analogies <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">are worth more than a mere thought. If you leave out the various names, <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">rituals and ceremonies and compare their core elements, it is surprising to <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">note the similarities between these four religions and their fundamental <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">statements. This holds especially true when it comes to the question of <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">where we originated and where we are going, such as in Genesis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #2f3f88;\">The following statements hold true for Hinduism,<br \/>\nBuddhism, Christianity and Islam<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #2f3f88;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\">There is only one Creator.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The Creator has aspects, which in some religions is known as a<br \/>\nTrinity (usually, father, son and spirit aspects), such as Father,<br \/>\nSon and Holy Ghost in Christianity, and as Brahma\/Vishnu\/Shiva in<br \/>\nVedic teachings. Islam does not recognize a trinity).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The Creator created the worlds, all living beings and all that exists.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Since humans were created according to the Creator\u2019s likeness,<br \/>\nwe also represent a trinity (body, mind and soul) and have free will.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\">One of the highest beings rose against the Creator and was banished<br \/>\ninto the material world with all of its allies.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\">It is the destiny of all beings to return to the Creator in the spiritual<br \/>\nworld through catharsis (reincarnation), insight and devotion.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\">This is the purpose of the prophets and their teachings, so that we<br \/>\nmay determine our path and ascension through our actions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The objective is to lead a life in harmony with ourselves and fellow<br \/>\nbeings, to gain peace and clarity and to recognize the Creator in us<br \/>\nand in others.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\">In this way we can attain love of all that exists and recognize the<br \/>\ngreater connection (enlightenment). Once our inner self then<br \/>\nbecomes enlightened and our feelings, desires, thoughts and actions<br \/>\ncome into harmony, we can commence our homeward journey to<br \/>\nthe spiritual worlds.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: small;\">It is suggested that the easiest way to achieve this objective is within<br \/>\na spiritual community.
