Our modern consciousness

For comparison purposes, we must ask ourselves: What is our modern worldview? What is our collective consciousness and our behavior towards Mother Earth at the beginning of the 21st century? We are destroying the environment and with it the foundations of our existence, something we will examine more closely in Chapter VI. We ruthlessly exploit the earth for material riches and believe that the mineral and plant kingdoms are only dead matter. The earth and its resources and minerals are viewed as purely natural resources and chemical formulae and depleted far too quickly by avaricious humans.

Humanity has thrown Mother Earth and the entire ecological and climatic system out of balance and is simply continuing as though nothing has happened. The new and purely materialistic worldview only came about around 1700 AD and spread in the last 200 years of industrialization. When 90% of people were still employed in agriculture, there was a deep connection to nature. We in the West are particularly guilty of behaving as though we were omniscient and the last inhabitants of the earth. But what have we made of the world within a very brief period of time and how will we leave it for our children? This is related to the picture we have of creation; many believe, because of the theory of evolution, that everything arose by chance and that we bear no responsibility for our actions.

Theory of evolution: creation by chance

In our schools and universities, half-truths about life and its origins are insinuated into our collective consciousness and declared to be knowledge (instead of merely the best insights we have at this moment). This is influenced decisively, of course, by Charles Darwin’s theory, which says, because it declares the cell to be the smallest element of everything organic, that all living beings arose from a single-cell organism, developing randomly into the various types of plants, animals and humans we see around us. Darwin’s theory is not incorrect when it is used to gain a better understanding of the levels of development within evolution, but it cannot stand up as a concept that explains creation.

There was no random evolution in which single-cell organisms wandered out of the primordial soup onto the land and then decided spontaneously to have some of them become plants and others animals, of which some developed from apes to men.

Nor is it an accident that every seed contains all the information needed to make full-grown plants of that species. An acorn contains the entire structure of an oak and a poplar cannot grow from it.

The human germ cells contain the precise cell divisions necessary for the development of specific organs that will comprise a specific person. He who can see must see and he who can feel must feel: a divine spark resides in everything that lives and everything is one.

Conscious creation of the deity

The earth, this beautiful planet with all its rich landscapes, plants, animals and people, is a special place. Those who look with their hearts must realize deep inside that it is impossible for all this to have developed from random cell division. Everything we see around us is nothing other than the materialized form of a pattern from the spiritual world. This is the exact opposite of coincidence; nothing – nothing whatsoever – has been left to chance. All the glory of nature and the variety of life forms on earth is divine creation within determined natural laws given by divine order from the spiritual world! It is the materialized creation that has been manifested according to spiritual principles and within the divine order so that living beings could develop. Everything is wonderful, light-filled, unifying creation, but most people today are oblivious to this fact, separated from God and the nature that surrounds them, isolating and protecting themselves more and more from the “threatening” environment.

GAIA lives

Everything is one; all life forms are unified by common foundations of life and depend on each other. Everything that lives and grows depends on Mother Earth. She is named GAIA in various ancient documents, particularly by the Greeks, which is why I chose the name for the title of this book. The advanced Greek civilization still understood Mother Earth as a living cosmos in space which, in its glorious nature and variety, repeatedly brings forth and nurtures new life. She is a unique organism in infinite symbioses, a macrocosm that consists of countless microcosms (immobile mineral and plant kingdoms) and upon which countless microcosms move freely (animal and human kingdoms). We should recognize these connections and act accordingly. We live from and on the earth with its atmosphere and natural resources and must not sacrifice it to the building of economies, technologies and industrialization.

This means that we should, as the creation stories of the religions and ancient cultures help us to do, again become conscious that Mother Earth lives and we can only live through her! That is why we should at long last connect our new knowledge with our old to arrive at a holistic view of Mother Earth. We cannot breathe money, drink power, or eat machines.

“The earth does not need us humans; we need it!”

Her consciousness and her task

The earth is not only a material organic body and a huge organism with its own cycles, but also a true living being with its own consciousness. Your consciousness of the earth is also an interaction of the so-called collective consciousness or morphogenetic field in which the consciousnesses of all living beings overlap (corresponding to the astral world). GAIA also has a soul and an emotional body. She feels the rapid changes on her skin (the thin earth crust) and reacts to it, as we will see when we examine climate change and the increase in natural catastrophes (see page 634). Mother Earth speaks to us, too, through her outward reactions or directly through her spirit. The medially received words are clear, frightening and loving admonitions:

“Protect the divine creation and my earth entities for your own future!”

“Your food should come from nature, not from domesticated animals that rob people and the other animals of their natural food!”

“The radiation and vibrations of your technological systems are hurting me!”

“Get rid of your nuclear power plants and atomic weapons!”

I was able to learn a great deal of the spiritual view from GAIA and from the spiritual beings at the 14 power places; I will share excerpts of their moving words and views with you at the end of each chapter. They show that GAIA has a clear role in the Creator’s plan of salvation; it serves the divine creation and the development and salvation of souls lovingly and selflessly. GAIA allows us the experiences that our souls require to ascend to the higher levels.

This is especially true in the transitional period in which we now live, in which it is possible to make possible a collective ascension. As earth people, we are living in the third and fourth dimensions, moving towards the fifth dimension – if the next elevation of creation into the higher vibration succeeds. GAIA herself says:

“This ascension is still possible if you protect the earth from further destruction. The task of humankind necessary to allow this is the ‘DEI insight’, ‘self-insight’, the ‘development of your potential to love’ and the ‘protection of creation’!”

Unfortunately, humankind is currently focusing only on consumption and technology, which is driving Mother Earth to destruction.

This is just a small excerpt from the book GAIA LEGACY.
