The Ley Lines

The ley lines are five elementary energy waves that flow directly beneath the surface of the earth. They each correspond to a sine wave that has one downward and one upward curve in one pass around the earth. The ley lines, or, more appropriately, energy channels, rotate around their own axes and are about 100 km wide (in comparison, the earth’s diameter is around 400,000 km). Life force flows through the five ley lines and energizes the plant, animal and human worlds. It is influenced by the magnetic field. The lines are also connected to and resonate with the five foundations of creation, the five elements and the five kingdoms. On the few maps of the world that show the ley lines, only one or two lines that encompass the earth are represented; they are thus only partially accurate and do not adequately show the connections. As we will see, it requires five ley lines to correspond to the foundations of creation and to give rise to the geometric earth grid.

Note: The name “ley lines” or “lay lines” is used today to refer to all sorts of energy lines; in southern England, it is often used to indicate the connection between one monolith and the next. This is because the name originally came from a series of English communities whose names ended in -leigh or -ley (which is Old English for “clearing”). But this widespread view is based only on a 1921 publication by Alfred Watkins, who further speculated that the series could refer to an old trade route (the Old Straight Tracks) that resulted in the shortest line of sight. The term “ley lines” (“holy lines” or “dragon lines”) is usually used today to indicate a configuration or connection of landmarks such as megaliths, prehistoric cult sites or church structures. Some maintain that “ley lines” is another term for the earth’s radiation, but that radiation is composed of three geomantic grids and not wave lines. The attempt at explanation that came nearest to the truth asserted that the ley lines are a prehistoric system of land surveying based on astronomical principles. This is almost true, but it was energetic principles that determined the location and orientation of structures.

The Ley Grid from Holy Geometry

And now everything fits together wonderfully: the intersections of the five ley lines form the three ley grids before our very eyes, complete with shapes from Holy Geometry (see Platonic bodies, page 28).

The Tetrahedron Grid

This tetrahedron grid is the first thing to appear when we connect the twelve main intersections of the ley lines. The tetrahedron corresponds to a three-sided pyramid with four surfaces. It is one of the elementary components of the metaphysical creation and appears in the cubic crystal system. In chemistry, it plays a significant role in the spatial configuration of atoms; for instance, the four hydrogen atoms in the methane molecule form a tetrahedron around the carbon atom. The carbon atoms in the diamond lattice also form a tetrahedron and each atom is surrounded by four others, also forming a tetrahedron. Two tetrahedrons together also create the shape of the star tetrahedron (see MerKaBa, page 29).

The Pyramid Grid

The horizontal connection of the twelve main intersections of the five ley lines and their intersections on the upper and lower curves for the pyramid grid.

The four-sided pyramid with five surfaces corresponds to an octahedron, which consists of two of these pyramids whose bases are joined. It explains why the Atlanteans built pyramids at these intersections: they wanted to create a connection and resonance with the ley lines and their energies.

The Dodecahedron Grid

Connecting the remaining intersections forms a dodecahedron, a further Platonic body with twelve five-sided surfaces, ten around the earth and one over each of the two poles. Although it cannot be seen on a two-dimensional map, these two are the pivot points. With all five corners, they connect a ley line with the pivot point, which corresponds to the poles of the earth and of the magnetic field. This makes twelve surfaces and twelve centers that allow the divine energies to flow into all twelve dimensions of creation simultaneously. That is why, from a spiritual point of view, the dodecahedron corresponds to the so-called Christ grid, of the same shape but almost infinitely large, encompassing the entire material creation.
